Wedding Cupcake Trends

Cupcakes are usually known to just be cake in a cup with frosting on top - but why stop there? Some of the latest trends are to put adornments on top of the frosting, such as monogrammed pieces of fondant, as seen below from Martha Stewart.

Other wedding cupcake trends are to stack the cakes in groupings on a large table, rather than using one large tiered stand, as seen below from Sibby's Cupcakery.

The above photo shows a creative way of stacking cupcakes in groupings, based on color and decoration. This is a beautiful way to display cupcakes for a large wedding if all your cupcakes wont fit on one singular stand. Notice the different types of stands used - from clear glass to pink to white. Using different types, heights, colors and sizes of stands will add an eclectic and visually appealing look for your wedding reception.
